What it is
OpenAI announced GPT-6 Sol in ChatGPT on October 7, 2026, rolling out first to Plus, Pro, Business and Enterprise. Free and Go receive GPT-6 Luna instead, starting October 8.
Intelligent UI lets responses include charts, forms and small interactive tools. OpenAI's launch comparisons are maker-reported claims, not independent benchmark results.
GPT-6 Sol is listed here for its announced ChatGPT access. Do not confuse it with the separately documented GPT-6.1 Sol API model or the older GPT-5.6 Sol endpoint runnable inside this library; no new endpoint is enabled by this page update.
Not the Free/Go model: those plans receive GPT-6 Luna. This page does not change the models runnable inside this library.
