PayPal CFO (2001) who led the company through its 2002 IPO. Joined Sequoia Capital in 2003 and led its investments in YouTube and Square (now Block). Senior steward of Sequoia from July 2022 until November 4, 2025, when Alfred Lin and Pat Grady succeeded him. Per Wikipedia, remains an advisor and sits on the boards of Block, Unity and SpaceX.
