GPT-6 Luna is the everyday GPT-6 model in OpenAI's October 7 ChatGPT announcement. Its rollout to Free and Go starts October 8, 2026; free-plan usage and tool limits still apply.
The announcement introduces Intelligent UI responses with charts, forms and small interactive tools. It does not establish a separately verified API price for GPT-6 Luna or guarantee immediate availability on every account.
GPT-5.6 Luna is the previous-generation model. The library's existing prompt runner still uses that older endpoint; this directory update does not silently switch it to GPT-6 Luna.
Free access has limits; availability follows the announced rollout.
