Kaggle playground competition on a classic open problem in combinatorial geometry: pack n non-overlapping unit squares into the smallest possible container across 1,000 puzzles. Partial submissions are allowed, and most puzzles have no proven optimal solution. About nine months remained to enter as of late October 2026; joining requires a free Kaggle account.
