What it is

Thinking Machines Lab introduces an image-input mixture-of-experts model for coding, reasoning and long-horizon tasks. It is initially offered through Tinker with closed weights. The company plans an Apache 2.0 weights release after external safety testing; that release is not confirmed as completed as of November 7.
